0:33.3	Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-, Beth. Hi, everyone. So far this week, we have been
0:38.6	studying Joshua 21, 43 through 45 in Hebrews 4, 5 through 11. And we've learned that God has been
0:44.9	faithful to his promise of providing rest to his people and that that rest is found ultimately in Jesus
0:50.0	Christ. Today we are going to look at how that truth can impact our every
0:54.4	lives moving forward from this week. So Beth, how do you plan to apply these passages?
1:00.0	I love how the paragraph on page 116 of the study introduces this application day. It reminds us
1:06.1	of the fact that we have been given rest through Christ now, but that we are also still in a way
1:11.1	ultimately waiting for our true and final rest in the new creation. I think that gave me two
1:16.8	really good points of application moving forward. So first, I now know where to turn when I need
1:22.2	comfort and rest in this life. Jesus himself said, come to me all who are weary, and I will give you rest. And I don't
1:29.0	know about you, but I am often tired and weary. I've been talking a lot about all of the different
1:34.2	roles that I play in my life right now. And so I'm a wife, I'm a mom, I'm a full-time employee. I'm a
1:39.0	small group leader, a friend, a sister, a daughter. And the list could actually go on. But on top of all of that, I'm also very,
1:45.0	very pregnant. And so needless to say, I really crave rest right now. I am incredibly tired.
