0:32.6	another episode of a year in the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth.
0:39.0	Hi, friends. Today we're going to be talking about the annotation day for John 3, 14 through 16. This passage says,
0:45.7	just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the son of man must be lifted up,
0:50.3	so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. For God loved the world in this way.
0:55.7	He gave his one and only son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal
1:01.2	life. Alexa, how did this day go for you? It was good. It was maybe on the short side, which is okay
1:07.2	because it's just packed with some really great truth that we're going to unpack
1:10.9	the rest of this week.
1:12.8	You know, I don't always share what I put on the Wednesday annotation days about the
1:17.6	words or phrases we see in the passage that points to Christ.
1:20.5	So I'm going to do that this time.
1:23.2	I highlighted,
1:24.0	Son of Man must be lifted up in verse 14, believes in him in verse 15 and 16, and then also in 16, one and only son.
1:35.6	Yeah. It's really easy to just kind of shrug off that prompt on the New Testament days because we often think that it's an easy one or that it's just all a given because the
1:45.0	New Testament is primarily about Jesus. But it is so helpful to really sit with these passages
