0:37.5	Hi, everyone. Today we are going to be discussing the annotation day from Numbers 21, 4 through 9.
0:45.0	So that passage says, then they set out from Mount Hore by way of the Red Sea to bypass the
0:51.2	land of Edom. But the people became impatient because of the journey.
0:55.5	The people spoke against God and Moses. Why have you let us up from Egypt to die in the wilderness?
1:00.9	There is no bread or water and we detest this wretched food. Then the Lord sent poisonous snakes
1:06.7	among the people and they bit them so that many Israelites died.
1:12.8	The people then came to Moses and said,
1:15.7	We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you.
1:19.4	Intercede with the Lord so that he will take the snakes away from us.
1:21.5	And Moses interceded for the people.
1:26.0	Then the Lord said to Moses, make a snake image and mount it on a pole.
1:29.2	When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover.
1:35.0	So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. Whenever someone was bitten and he looked at the bronze snake, he recovered. So, Alexa, how did this annotation day go for you?
1:40.9	Yeah, I thought it went really well. And it, you know, it made me excited to talk more about this passage since we're just in the annotation phase of the process. I thought I would mention what attributes of God we see in this passage. In verse 8, we see that God sent poisonous snakes in a response to the Israelites complaining. And although that might see maybe extreme, it's a just response
