Bible. I'm Beth, and I'm joined as always by Alexa. Hi, everyone. Today we're going to be talking about how we plan on applying what we learned this week.

So Beth, will you share with us your application takeaways?

Yes, for sure.

So there are two things that stood out to me this week.

First is that Jesus' sacrificial work cleanses me of my sin so that I can be in God's presence.

Now, this is very similar to what we

talked about on the application day of last week, but it's the kind of thing that I feel like I need

to be constantly reminding myself of, so I figured I'd talk about it again. So in the time of the Old

Testament, people could not approach God. They couldn't just walk up to him and speak to him

because of his great holiness and their sin. They couldn't just walk up to him and speak to him because of his great

holiness and their sin. They had to first offer sacrifices and make sure that they were cleansed

of impurities in all these different ways. But because of Jesus, I not only have access to God's

presence, I have his very presence dwelling within me through the Holy Spirit. So what I'm

encouraged to actually do this week is to treat that fact with a bit more reverence than I normally

do, which is typically to not really think about it at all. And so I want to stop more often and pray
