Each week I speak to inspirational people about how they reach the top of their

game and their mindset for success. Amy Dowden is a professional dancer, best known for being

one of the pros on Strictly Come Dancing, one of the UK's most watched television programs. She's

married to her professional dance partner Ben Jones, and together they are the former British National Latin Dance Champions.

Amy has shown professional strength and resilience throughout her entire life.

As a teen she was diagnosed with Crohn's and inflammatory bowel disease, which got so bad that it led to many lengthy stays in hospital.

And in May last year, at just 32 years old,

Amy announced she was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer. She had a mastectomy, and in July

2023, she revealed she'd received the second diagnosis of another type of cancer. But last

month, she received the incredible news that her latest checkup shows no signs of the disease.

Amy's ill health has never stopped her from dancing and achieving her dreams.

And this interview should inspire anyone who listens to it.
