daughter. Thanks for joining. Today, we're reading Acts 25 and 26, exploring how Paul helps us

better understand what it means to be courageous.

When we think of courage, most of us picture the big screen version.

The superhero standing tall in the face of danger.

The camera pans in, the music swells, they charge into battle with the world watching.

In Marvel movies, courage looks like lightning bolts, shields, perfectly

timed one-liners. It's loud, it's visible, and it ends in victory. The credits roll. The hero

walks away stronger or with a lesson learned. They're celebrated and feels kind of flawless.

But real courage, biblical courage, doesn't always make for a good movie scene.

It's rarely glamorous.

Sometimes it looks like walking into a courtroom, not a battlefield.

Sometimes it looks like staying steady when people misunderstand or speaking truth when you know it might cost you.

There's no soundtrack for that kind of

bravery, just the quiet conviction that God is worth obeying even when no one's clapping.

That's the kind of courage we see in Acts 25 and 26. Paul isn't flying through the air or

saving the world with superpowers. He's standing in chains before two powerful men who don't believe

a word he says. And yet, he's the boldest person in the room. Because for Paul, courage isn't about

control, applause, or a guaranteed win. It's about staying faithful to Jesus no matter how the story ends. If we misunderstand

what courage really is, we'll spend our lives chasing the wrong kind of bravery. We'll think

courage is about being strong enough, confident enough, or loud enough to make things happen.
