0:25.6	Welcome back to a year in the Bible with daily grace. My name is Kristen Schmucker and we are journeying through the New Testament.
0:30.3	Today we are wrapping up the Book of Philippians and it has been such a delight to be in this beautiful book with you all.
0:37.0	Yesterday we walked through chapter 3 and we learned about how knowing Jesus is our greatest goal in all of life and today as we begin
0:45.3	chapter 4 Paul is going to start with a therefore or I so then and this is a
0:51.4	clue to us that everything that Paul is about to say is building
0:55.2	on what he has already said in the first part of the letter.
0:59.4	In light of everything that he has said, Paul speaks to the church at Philippi as his dearly loved and longed for brothers and sisters.
1:07.6	Paul speaks to his fellow family members in the body of Christ by calling calling them brothers and sisters, he is reminding them that because
1:15.7	we are united to Christ, we are also united to one another.
1:20.2	He urges them to stand firm in the Lord.
1:23.4	But Paul and speaking of the Church as a family
1:25.7	is not naive to the dysfunction that family can so often bring.
1:30.6	He speaks directly to Yudia and Synintake and encourages them to walk in unity with one another
1:36.5	and to agree in the Lord and the things that have been pulling them apart.
1:40.4	This highlights for us the importance of unity and reconciliation in the church.
1:45.0	Church is hard. There is often hurt involved.
1:49.0	Other believers will fail us and that can be so hard to accept. But the gospel grounds us in
