Thank you for joining me today upon my return from my mini vacation during which I did nothing but work,

constantly. Today's episode is a rough one. It's recent, it's local to me. It's when I've got

personal ties to in a number of different ways. But most importantly, it's one that after seven years still has

no resolution. And that's why we're going to talk about it today, because a family is still

hurting and needs answers. And I know, I know that someone out there listening to this episode has them. I'm going to be

leaving a lot of names out today. My general policy is that if names have been used in the media,

I will use them too. But in this case, a lot of the information I have is from police files and interviews with the people

involved. So if it feels like I'm leaving out important names and details, it's not because I don't

know them or because I don't have them. It's because these are details that haven't been shared

publicly and I am not going to be the person to do that. So, take a deep breath

because it's time for a very special dead time story. And this one begins with a poem. Winkin, Blinken,
