I hope that you're all enjoying this summer weather that you wanted so bad.

I know not everyone is in Michigan, but here I'm a mitten.

It has been fucking hot for like many, many days in a row, super hot.

And I don't appreciate it at all.

I don't really like the heat, but it's exceptionally hot and we're barely into summer.

So needless to say, summertime in Grand Lodge is just not a good time this year so far.

Summertime in Grand Ledge was also not a good time back in 1966, but it wasn't because of the heat.

It was because the entire city was living in fear of the Grand Ledge Slayer. So I've lived in the Grand Ledge area for almost 15 years now,

and when I came across this case through some random deep diving I was doing a couple years ago

on something else, I was like super pissed. Grand Ledge had

a slayer and I didn't know about it. Turns out though, very few people know about it. It's one of those

awful slices of life that the community swept under the rug as small towns so often do when

tragedy and scandal strikes.

So let's talk a little bit about Grand Ledge. We've talked about it before, just in me telling stories about life and my family.
