Happy True Crime Tuesday, everybody.

Today we're going to talk about a topic that fascinates me so much.

I had to find a way to tie it back to Michigan so that I could cover it on the podcast.

As you guys know, I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to the supernatural, legends, stuff like that.

But for some reason, I am fascinated by curses. I did a bonus episode last year on

the Titanic curse, last year about this time actually. But beyond that, we haven't really

talked about curses on the podcast. That all changes today, though,

because we're going to talk about the curse of April. T.S. Eliot once wrote, April is the cruelest

month. And there's really no simpler way to put it.

The month of April, more specifically the second half of April, has been host to so many

catastrophic events over the years.

It goes far beyond coincidence and has even sparked rumors of a curse, which my birthday is at the end

of April, so this time of year has always been a happy time for me. Well, that's not entirely

true. Someday I'll tell you about the absolute trauma of my 16th birthday, but that's another episode.

That's a story for another day.
