So there weren't a ton of trade-offs, and I think part of that was because we started with such a simple MVP.

And the way we were able to decide this is what we're building and these are the constraints,

is because I did that boring work of reading through literally every comment in that Squarespace threat.

I had an Excel sheet open on the side where I was just sort of tracking patterns,

like when someone would say something, I would add a one to like a general theme.

And I had like five different general themes that people were mentioning.

And I just saw that overwhelmingly the majority of people literally just wanted a way to

collect an email address to get access to a page.
