We are in Acts 19 today.

So far, we have studied two missionary journeys of Paul's, where he's traveled to all kinds of

places, big cities and remote villages, to share the good news of Jesus.

Today we are reading about events that happen in Paul's third missionary journey, specifically

in Ephesus. Now yesterday we did see Paul stop by Ephesus, but it was very brief. This time he comes back and spends around three years.

All that happened in Ephesus can be described in one word

that we see in verse 23 of today's reading,

disturbance.

But not the type of disturbance you feel when your alarm clock interrupts a good night of sleep.
