Hello and welcome to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

My name is Katie and I am one of your co-host on a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

We are currently in the Book of Acts learning all about the spread of the gospel in the first century.

I've loved this study so far because we have learned that Jesus' ministry was just at the beginning with this time on earth. He is continuing

his work through the Holy Spirit and his disciples to bring many to faith. And today

we are studying acts 18.

At the very end of acts 15, we began Paul's second missionary journey.

And today, we will wrap up that second journey and move into the third.

While studying Paul's missionary journeys together, it's

been helpful to have a map on the hand, just so you can better visualize where Paul has

traveled. You can find this by simply searching for map of Paul's second missionary journey on Google.

Today, we find Paul in Corinth.

We are first introduced to a sweet friendship, a partnership that begins not just in trade, but in ministry.

See, Paul is a tentmaker in his spare time. In fact, this is a way that he could make himself money to support his ministry and

here in Corinth he meets a couple Priscilla and Aquila who have a lot in common with

him. Scholars believe that both Priscilla and Aquila are believers in Christ and that they are both tent makers.

This isn't just a casual friendship, It's a deep partnership in the gospel.
