0:33.2	Today, we are studying First Corinthians 2.

0:43.3	Yesterday in 1st Corinthians 1, Paul established that Jesus is the wisdom of God, yet
0:48.5	foolishness and a stumbling block to those who do not believe.
0:52.5	Why would an innocent man allow himself to die? Even more, why would
0:57.3	God die for sinners? How could a man raise himself from the dead? These are questions that the
1:04.5	world may ask of the gospel. Questions that may showcase how God's wisdom is far different from human wisdom.
1:13.0	In God's wisdom, he allowed his perfect son to die a criminal's death.
1:18.3	Only God would pour out his own wrath on himself.
1:22.4	Only God would love that much.
1:25.8	God's wisdom far surpasses our own, and this is what Paul reflects on
1:29.8	even more today in 1 Corinthians too. Even Paul, author of many of the New Testament books,
1:36.6	proclaims his own weakness to showcase Christ wisdom in himself. Paul models for the Corinthians
