Today, we come to the book of Micah.

These seven chapters are both sobering yet hopeful as we will see the stark contrast between

God's judgment and his faithful covenant love.

Yesterday, we read about the fall of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

The book of Micah speaks to the destruction of both Israel and Judah.

So as we study these prophecies, we know what has already occurred in Israel and what is

coming for Judah.

We do have seven chapters to cover today, so this will be a quick, high-level overview

But what we will hopefully see is that, though God is just, He is also gracious and merciful.
