Hey friends, welcome back to the podcast, Tiffany here, and today we take a journey to the book of Jonah.

Now, when I mention the prophet Jonah, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Likely, you thought of the giant fish that swallowed him and then spit him out.

For many of us, we were taught this story as children, and Jonah and the fish were the leading characters.

But the main characters are actually Jonah and God.

But the fish is a small part of this narrative, used by God to mercifully save Jonah from drowning

and to teach him to submit to God's message of repentance to the Ninevites.

As we walk through this short book, today we will focus on the major themes of Jonah's life and message

and how they display the story of redemption and salvation for all people.
