0:37.1	But it doesn't lack in teaching us important lessons about the Lord and the obedience

0:44.5	As we walk through the events of 2 Kings 14 and 2 Chronicles 25, we will see the importance
0:50.9	of living for the Lord wholeheartedly and the consequence of split allegiance.
0:57.7	The events of today's chapters and 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles are fairly identical, but
1:03.2	we will focus on the Chronicles narrative as it gives us a few more details.
1:08.6	Then, we'll jump back to 2 Kings to finish out the day.
1:13.0	As we've walked through the years and rains of the divided kingdoms of Israel and Judah,
1:18.1	we've seen Kings make alliances with one another, help each other in battles with their
1:23.0	enemies, and coexist in relative peace.
1:27.7	All that changes today with King Amazaya of Judah and King Jehoash of Israel.
1:34.8	But before we talk about their war, let's get some background on King Amazaya of Judah.
