0:32.7	On the one hand, we celebrate the completion of both 2nd Kings and 2nd Chronicles, but
0:38.8	on the other, we read about the fall of Judah at the hand of the Babylonians.
0:44.6	For the past couple of months, we've read many prophecies concerning this day, and now
0:50.4	it has arrived.
0:52.1	And though we will read about God's judgment on Judah today, we will also be reminded
0:56.9	that he is faithful to his promises, both good and hard.
1:01.4	So buckle up as we walk through this defining moment in Judah's history.
1:07.5	As you know, I haven't been a stickler for dates on this journey, but there are important
1:12.2	benchmarks for us to keep in mind.
1:15.3	One of those benchmarks was the fall of the Northern Kingdom of Israel to Assyria in
1:20.4	722 BC.
1:23.0	The second benchmark occurs in our study today, when the Southern Kingdom of Judah falls
1:28.3	to the Babylonians in 586 BC.
1:32.8	As we studied the narratives of 2nd Kings 24 through 25 and 2nd Chronicles 36, we were
