| 0:00.0 | Welcome to a Year in the Bible with Daily Grace. |
| 0:05.0 | From Eden to eternity, the Bible tells one big story of redemption. |
| 0:10.0 | My name is Tiffany, and I want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through the Bible chronologically. |
| 0:17.0 | Together, we will explore God's sovereign plan as the events of Scripture unfold and point to Jesus. |
| 0:23.6 | Hey friends, Tiffany here! Welcome back to our journey from Eden to eternity. We have arrived at the final days of the Southern Kingdom of Judah. |
| 0:34.6 | Their destruction and exile are imminent, and in Jeremiah chapter 34 through 38, |
| 0:40.9 | we read the last details and messages from the Lord. We will jump back and forth in time today |
| 0:47.9 | between the reigns of Jeholyakim and Zedekiah, which will show how Judah continually rejected the Lord and turned a blind eye to their |

| 2:03.1 | preserved even through exile. The narrative moves on to speak about a covenant Zedekiah made with the |
| 2:09.9 | people of Judah to free their Hebrew slaves. The covenant is sealed by walking through split animals, just like God did back in Genesis 15 when he made the covenant with Abraham. |
| 2:23.9 | But unlike the Lord, the people go back on their word and take their slaves captive once again, after granting their freedom. |
| 2:33.0 | Zatokiah did a good thing by leading the people to be obedient to the commands of Exodus 21 |
