0:28.5	Today, we come to Jeremiah, chapters 26 through 29.
0:33.6	Though these chapters were relatively short in comparison to those in previous days,
0:38.7	they pack a punch as we learn more about the exile of God's people and His plan for them.
0:45.7	There is a really popular verse found in chapter 29, and we will spend some time unpacking
0:51.2	it and rightly applying it today as well.
0:54.4	So, let's get started with chapter 26.
0:58.6	We begin with another time marker.
1:01.7	This message from the Lord, spoken through Jeremiah, occurred during the reign of King
1:06.9	Josiah's second son, Jehoyakim.
1:11.1	God instructs Jeremiah to go to the temple and tell the people to listen and to turn from
1:16.7	their evil ways.
1:18.5	But if they don't, he will make the temple just like Shiloh.
1:23.9	Jeremiah shared this same example once before, back in chapter 7.
1:28.8	Also, in verse 7 and 4, we read that the tabernacle and the ark of the covenant dwelt in Shiloh.
