0:33.0	Yesterday, we rejoiced in the prophecy proclaiming Christ's death and the healing His wounds bring to our sinful hearts.
0:42.0	Isaiah's prophecies continue today.
0:45.0	As we've seen in other chapters, there will be near fulfillment for the exiles,
0:50.0	but also future fulfillment that Christians still await.
0:54.0	Today's chapters are hopeful, but they remind us of the urgency to share the gospel.
1:02.0	Let's get started with Isaiah chapter 54.
1:06.0	This chapter speaks about the future glory of Israel.
1:10.0	These verses did indeed have a near or immediate fulfillment in the book of Ezra,
1:16.0	when 42,000 Jews returned home to Jerusalem.
1:20.0	But more than that, these verses have great spiritual victory and glory for the new Jerusalem we await in the book of Revelation.
1:30.0	The passage tells us to rejoice, shout, and not be afraid.
1:35.0	We can do this because we have been restored and we have a heavenly home awaiting us.
1:42.0	We also rejoice and shout when people hear the gospel and follow Jesus.
1:48.0	Just as Jerusalem was inhabited again after the exile, we too will inhabit the new Jerusalem with millions of fellow believers as we gather around the throne in worship.
2:01.0	In chapter 55, all sinners, Jew and Gentile, are invited to come to the Lord.
