0:38.0	We learned about the two overarching themes of the book, God's promises and God's presence.
0:44.0	We also learned about the Israelites' bondage.
0:47.2	We met Moses and we ended our time on Mount Horib with Moses before the burning bush.
0:54.3	So it's in this scene that we will start again today.
0:58.6	Chapter four begins with Moses' response to God.
1:03.4	After all God had said to Moses, his first response was to question and doubt.
1:09.4	That should sound fairly familiar, both from all we've studied so far and on a personal

1:15.9	So often, even when we know the truths of God's Word and His promises, we still question
1:22.6	and we still come up with excuses just as Moses did.
1:27.4	His first excuse was the doubt of the Israelites' people.
1:31.9	What if they didn't believe Moses had really heard from the Lord?
1:35.8	His second excuse was his lack of eloquence to speak to the people on the Lord's behalf.
