0:52.0	The author of Exodus is Moses.
0:55.4	This is the widely accepted author of the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus,
1:01.7	Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
1:05.0	In Hebrew, these books are known as the Torah and in Greek, they are known as the Pentateuch.
1:11.3	Now, obviously, there are some places like the record of Moses' death that were added
1:16.6	later by another author, but the majority of these books were penned by Moses, who
1:22.2	was also considered the first prophet and leader of Israel after the era of the patriarchs.
1:29.1	But his greatest role is that of mediator.
1:32.7	We first heard the term mediator in the book of Job as Job asked for someone to intervene
1:38.5	on his behalf before God.
