Miss Allison Clayton of the Innocence Project of Texas was here and she answered several questions before she had to run out to catch a flight.

So the first segment you're going to hear is Allison answering questions from people that has been pre-recorded.

I was wondering what your strategy is for the first steps. Will you be seeking to get DNA testing of the evidence that is still out there?

And how are you even going about finding out what evidence is still out there?

The next step is finding out all of the evidence that is out there.

I think we just about have everything known down as to what they still have and what they don't have.

The second part of it is testing that evidence to find out if it can even still be tested,

if what the results are going to be, if a lot of times they'll be inconclusive or not of much help.

And then after that after we find out what all of the test results are, then when we have to do, then we can have the ammunition to start filing the Ritz of Habiest Corpus to ultimately ask for Ed's release.

Do you have to file any motions to get permission to do that testing, or is it just an issue of being able to pay for doing that testing?

So there are things out there that I know right now that I want to have that can do regardless of Smith County.

I can do that no matter what. I don't need their cooperation to do those things.
