Hello everybody and welcome back to Truth and Justice. As many of you probably noticed,

last week's episode has struck me to my core. Since speaking to Edward, I have spent the last

week working from Don to dusk researching the Smith County Justice System. I keep finding the one

case leads to another which leads to another which leads to another which leads to a pattern.

This case that we're working on is not just about Edward Aids anymore, it's not just about Kenny Snow,

or Carrie Max Cook. After hearing Kenny and Ed's stories first hand and speaking with Carrie

Max Cook about what happened to him in Smith County in reading about countless other cases of

misconduct in that system, I am determined to put a stop to it. After recording the interview

that you heard last week with Edward Aids, I spoke to him about his family. I wanted to know how to

get in touch with his mother, his wife, his friends, and his response was devastating. Edward Aids

has lost everything. He told me he doesn't even know if he's still married. He knows that after

several years went by that his ex-wife had filed for divorce or started that process, but he said

that he honestly doesn't even know if he's married anymore. He was very close with his brother

and he hasn't heard from him in years. He only has phone contact with his mom. He also hasn't

seen her face in several years. He's lost contact with all of his friends. He's just been sitting

in that prison, waiting until his sentence ends, which will be the end of his life. I refuse to

allow this to happen to Edward Aids, or Kenny Snow, or anyone else that is innocent sitting in a

Texas prison as a result of Smith County misconduct. My heels are dug in in Smith County, and I'm not

going anywhere until there is real, reform, and change. I've literally read through thousands

of pages of documents over the last week. I have a ton of information about Smith County sprawled

out all across my desk. I'm going to do my best to try to keep this as linear as possible,
