Summary
This week's episode is on a subject that's incredibly close to our hearts - fertility.
We wanted to do it justice by sharing some very personal stories and so it feels important to say that, if you are going through a fertility journey right now and don't feel this is the episode for you, we see you and we will be here for you if you want to come back to it another time.
If you do want to listen, we see you too, and you'll hear us talk openly about miscarriage, IVF and the realities of parenthood. You'll hear Elizabeth coin a phrase that everyone has to hear - "fertility privilege" - and you'll hear first hand how to support someone else who is going through their own journey to parenthood.
If this episode resonates with you, we hope you feel less alone after listening.

| 0:59.6 | Friend Therapy and today we're discussing a topic that is very close to my |
| 1:05.2 | heart which is the topic of fertility and I say fertility quite specifically |
| 1:10.4 | because I feel that the term infertility is unnecessarily stigmatising and |
| 1:17.6 | labelling. In much the same way as disability can be for some people. However, I |
| 1:23.6 | also acknowledge that that's the language we have readily available so we will |
| 1:28.6 | probably use that word but I wanted to go in saying fertility because so many of |
| 1:34.8 | us have unstrake forward complicated journeys with that concept and I'm |
| 1:43.0 | certainly no exception and yet it feels as though in society until really, |
| 1:50.2 | really recently and I'm talking the last 10 years, there really hasn't been |
| 1:55.6 | given that much airplay to the issues around fertility but at the same time |
