Summary

Jeff challenges us that transformed hearts are what really transforms communities. If we don’t care about people’s eternity’s and hearts, then we are missing it. As believers, the work that we are doing really does matter to God, how are we living? Are we choosing to do “random acts of kindness” that are less random and more Spirit led? 0:58.0	Watermark Dallas. But all of that said, that's December. Today we are in Nehemiah 8 and I'm here with
1:04.8	the one and only Jeff Ward. Hey, good to be here. So glad to be with y'all. So glad to have you here,
1:09.5	Jeff. For those who don't know you, would you share a little bit about who you are, what God's done in your life, and then what you're up to today?
1:16.5	Okay. Well, I grew up for the most part in Oklahoma, was in a ministry family. So by God's grace came to faith at a really early age. I've got a lot of Bible, you know, foundation then, but I did sort of drift into sort of a
1:31.3	performance-based, you know, legalism there.
1:35.3	And the Christian walk felt a lot for me like the don'ts, kind of avoid the big sins.
1:40.3	And later on, many years later, you know, had some just tremendous men who
1:44.5	disciples me, taught me how to read the Bible, taught me about God's grace, and really
1:48.5	showed me the Christian walk was a lot about the dues. And so that's a little bit of my
1:53.8	journey in a nutshell, got to move. Well, went to law school, married my high school
1:59.4	sweetheart. Yeah, you did.
