0:34.2	Similar to his first letter, Paul will warn Timothy against false teaching and the necessity
0:40.0	of sound doctrine, and Paul will exhort Timothy to stand firm in his holy calling from the

0:48.1	While addressed to Timothy, Paul's words teach believers much about being on guard against
0:54.2	evil imposters, and staying true to the ministry God has called each of us to, as we share

1:03.3	Second Timothy is the last of the three pastoral epistles we've studied.
1:08.6	The first two were first Timothy and Titus.
1:13.0	His pastoral epistles share Paul's heart with these two men that were like sons to

1:20.1	They provide practical guidance in ministry and necessary warning against false teachings.
1:27.5	In this final pastoral epistle, we also can feel an urgency as Paul writes.
1:34.0	While Timothy is still ministering in Ephesus, Paul is no longer in Macedonia, but has been
1:39.8	arrested a second time, and is imprisoned in Rome once again.
