Today, we complete the book of Hebrews.

In these final four chapters, the author will provide us with practical application through

numerous examples and the reminder to hold fast to the confession of our hope, Jesus.

Throughout this letter, we've seen that Jesus is better, and He alone is who we cling to.

Yesterday, we studied Jesus' superiority over the priesthood and the old covenant.

Hebrews chapter 10 verses 1 through 18 will complete the doctrinal section we began back

in chapter 1 by showing that Jesus is the superior sacrifice.

The author tells us that the law was only a shadow of the things to come.

It could never perfect us, and that is why sacrifices were made year after year.
