0:40.7	Hey, Emma, thanks for having me here today.
0:42.3	Abby, I'm so glad to meet you, to get to know you, and really just hear more about your
0:47.1	story. So I'm going to let you share a little bit about how you came to know Jesus and fast
0:50.9	forward what's going on today. Yeah, I luckily grew up in the church. Both my parents are
0:56.3	believers. However, I didn't recognize the value of following Christ. In high school, I really
1:04.5	struggled with performance pleasing people. I also tried to live this double standard of
1:10.7	seeming to be perfect on the outside
1:14.2	and to everyone around me. But I was also not following the Lord in my actions. I was in a party
1:19.9	crowd. I just really wasn't honoring the Lord with my actions. It wasn't until I went to college
1:25.7	that the Lord really captured my heart. Through friends in a
1:29.9	Bible study, I really learned what it meant to read my Bible, to be disciples. I got the opportunity
1:36.2	to work at camp, which helped grow my knowledge of the Lord to know his character better.
1:41.0	And since then, I've been faithfully following the Lord. I've learned a lot these past
1:45.7	years of postgrad, learned a lot about how performance has come back up again and work, and wanting
1:53.1	to be impressive to people and constantly being humbled in my pride and my selfishness and turning
