to teach. Love it. What are you most excited for this year? I love building relationships with my

students and my colleagues. That is so fun to me, just that interaction on a daily basis with the kids

and with my coworkers. It's that and it's storytelling. I love teaching because I...

You're a science teacher. I am. I teach biology and physics and I love just getting to

tell stories. I teach through stories and what's more fun than that. That is so fun. I love it.

But speaking of stories, we're in First Samuel 27, 28. I've got three questions for you.

Great.

Number one, let's just jump into the hard stuff.

Tell me a little bit about mediums.

We encounter that idea or that vocation, if you will, in this passage.

Is that a real thing? What do we do with that?

That's a great question, and it is to me the hard part about this passage is dealing with the medium. And mediums are a real thing? What do we do with that? That's a great question. And it is, to me, the hard part about

this passage is dealing with the medium. And mediums are a real thing. We see it in Leviticus.

We see it in Deuteronomy. We see it in other places in the scripture. In Leviticus, God says,

if a person turns to mediums, that he's going to turn his face against them, and he is going to cut them off from among his people.

Like, this is a big deal that Saul's going to a medium. In Deuteronomy, it says,

they shall not be found among you. Like, mediums are not to be there. Whoever does these things

is an abomination to the Lord. Like, this is highly regarded as sin. It's a no-no. It's a no-no, absolutely.
