| 1:40.0 | Even though Saul had promised not to harm David, David knew better. |
| 1:45.0 | While in the wilderness, he looked to make a valuable ally with a wealthy man named Nebel. |
| 1:53.0 | As we read about Nebel's disrespectful and contemptuous answer to David's men, |
| 1:59.0 | we realize why his name means stupid or foolish. |
| 2:04.0 | Nebel was a Calebite, meaning he was from the line of Caleb, who helped conquer the Promised Land, |
| 2:12.0 | which means he and David were from the same tribe of Judah. |
