We're now four weeks into our investigation of this extremely complicated case.

To this point, you've basically heard what the jury heard in Chris Bynum's trial.

Two crime scenes, five victims, Anthony, Amp Jeffers, Suzanne and Angela Wallace all gunned down

in Suzanne's living room within an hour of Liz Ayers and Sheila Barty being shot to death at a

ball field across town. At the house crime scene, nine shots were fired from one or two 38 caliber

pistols.

The attack appeared to be an ambush.

According to the state and their star witness, 12-year-old Larry Brooks,

there were two black men involved in the attack,

but only one was shooting requiring a reload mid-attack.

At the ball field, only three shots were fired into the two victims, also from a

38-caliber pistol. Liz Ayers was shirtless and sustained a massive blunt force wound to her head

aside from the gunshots, and Sheila Barty was found fully nude with a single gunshot to the head.

That's what the jury heard. Today, we're going to begin our process

into digging into the details of both scenes to either confirm or deny the state's theories.

And the first step in that process is to examine the autopsies, to see what the bodies are telling us.

And since it's fresh in our minds, I'm going to begin with the two victims from the ball field, starting with Sheila Barty.

Remember from episode 3 that Sheila was almost certainly the last to be killed at the ballfield.

From what we heard at trial, she suffered a single gunshot wound of the head and her body was

discovered on top of the back of Liz Ayers' legs, whereas Liz suffered multiple gunshot wounds,

massive blunt force trauma to the head, and had extensive drag marks on her back.
