Hello everybody and welcome to this kind of special edition of Truth and Justice.

This is, well, it's Friday for you guys that are listening to the audio version of this,

which is a weird time to have kind of a main episode, but we're recording this as kind of a follow-up.

So just as a reminder for everyone, I mentioned this in last week's follow-up.

This week, I have to be out of town all week for a conference for my teaching job.

So we're taking just a one-week quick break from our season 17 case and trying to respond to a bunch of people have been asking us, myself, and Janet, for all of our thoughts on the latest updates that came out of the Undisclosed podcast on the Anansai Ed case.

And we haven't had time and our other follow-ups to do that. So we thought, well, hey, let's do a

Sunday live with our patrons. And we'll put that out as an episode on Friday. And then also,

on this past Friday, which was the day our regular follow-up dropped, we got a big ruling in the West Memphis 3 case. So I'm going to break that down as well. By the time you guys, I'm sure most of you that are listening to this on Friday have already heard the news, but I'm going to give you kind of the details about what's going to be tested and things like that. We've got patrons. We've got a bunch of people in the live chat that will be throwing questions at us. And we're just going to, we're just going to just let this thing roll and just have a casual conversation, as I like to say. Fantastic. And just a reminder for you guys. So then on Sunday, we're back to our regularly scheduled program on Sunday. So two days

after you're hearing this, we'll be back to season 17 where we're going to start breaking down

the autopsy and medical evidence in the quintuple homicide, the Chris Bynum case for season 17.

I've been said, how you doing, Janet? To see you on a Sunday? I'm good. I'm good. I just re-listened to the last couple of episodes of Undisclosed towards justice in anticipation of this conversation. I listened to the second to last one yesterday, which I realized as I was listening to it, I was like, oh, no, I think I've already listened to this like two or three times. Like, it was very familiar by the time I put it background yesterday. Whether that means I retain

all of the information in it to discuss today remains to be seen. And then I was just listening,

I listened to Becky Feldman's episode twice the same, the day that it came out. So I went back and

listened to that again this morning.

Yeah, I listened to Becky's episode yesterday. I have not circled back to re-listen this. I'm glad you did because I remember we had kind of offline conversation about episode

six. So I'm hoping maybe you found some of those details. So just to kind of back up where

things were at with the case, you know, there's been a ton of big reveals.

We heard earlier in the season, Collins Big Bombshell, which was what appears to be a pretty massive Brady violation in the fact that according to Jay Wilde's attorney that there was a deal in place, that Jay absolutely was made aware that his testimony, that his sentence would be

contingent on his testimony and that he was likely never going to serve any time in jail.
