But I got into a conversation with a very talented lawyer that's worked on a bunch of cases that we're

So I'm a habeas lawyer for the last 15 years. I've been doing mostly federal habeas cases from state convictions.

There are also habeas cases from federal convictions, but I don't do many of those.

And for 10 of the last 15 years, I just stopped about a

year ago, taught a clinic at the Morris School of Law here in Bloomington at the university,

in which the students and I litigated federal habeas cases and we had pretty terrific success.
