Ahoy, friends. Thank you for tuning into truth and justice. We are back from our Thanksgiving break, and you are listening to the Friday Fallup for Season 17, Episode 19, Shaky. This week we heard from

four different witnesses that all had sworn affidavits pointing to one person, and if you didn't

listen to this episode, spoiler alert, it wasn't Chris Bynum. Today I'm joined by Bob Ruff and Janet Varnie, and we have a lot to get into. So let's dive right in. All right. Yeah, I don't think we have any housekeeping issues going on right now. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving. And then we did have a nice, enjoyed the break. I even got a little extended break. We had a snow day today from school. So I got a little, one little extra day tagged on to there. The only, I guess the only housekeeping thing I will remind you of is that we, if you were somebody who likes to watch and participate in the recordings of the follow-up, that we are moving that to Monday. So we'll be recording on Mondays for the foreseeable future right now. So keep your eyes out for that. Other than that, there was a lot to unpack here. It has been a couple weeks since we put it out. But we went through a series of affidavits that were uncovered by the defense investigators for Chris's appeal. As Zach said, they all seem to point in one direction. So I know we have a lot of listener questions.

I want to talk to you guys just to kind of get the ball rolling and kind of remind everybody about the episode.

Zach, I'll start with you.

Holy shit.

Like, I don't want to say I didn't see it coming, but I, it's craziness that four separate witnesses.

All separate of each other came forward with the information

they came forward all pointing one direction like and like you did at the end of the episode if

you haven't listened please go back and listen you put together a narrative using those affidavits

that not only makes sense and paints the picture of what actually happened that night.

It was, I'm really impressed.

And it's really amazing that nothing has ever come from this.

Yeah.

And this has all been presented to the appeals court and was denied.

Like everything that we've kind of been covering was all, you know, with the forensic stuff and this stuff.

This was all put as, like the, the Innocence Clinic from Indiana University worked on this case for years and then put it like what to me was a massive like, here's a thousand reasons Chris Bynum is innocent.

And they denied, they denied the appeal.

Did you get into that in the episode like why specifically they did deny all of that information that they said, you know, usually there would be some sort of finding where it's like, we found that this is not reliable or we found that it wouldn't have mattered, da, da, da, da.
