Music The journey that we're about to embark on is a complicated one. At least one element of the case

is complicated. And that's the crime itself, or the crimes themselves would be a more appropriate

way to put it. We're going to be dealing with five murders spread across two completely different

crime scenes located about a mile apart.

Three people were murdered inside of a house, and two unrelated victims were found murdered in a baseball field across town.

At one scene, the three victims were all shot in their living room,

fully clothed, almost ambushed with elements of the

scene that might make you think of a mob hit, a series of executions. On the other scene,

the bodies of the victims were found outside in the snow, one nude and another one partially dressed,

with bloody drag marks indicating that the bodies had been moved.

At first glance, one might assume that these two incidents are unrelated.

Two random acts of violence, especially in a city like Gary, Indiana,

where the homicide rate ranks ten times higher than the national average.
