Ahoy, friends. You are listening to the Friday follow up for Season 17, Episode 1, Quintuple Homicide,

where Bob gives us a 30,000-foot view of the brand new case that we're going to be working on this season.

Two crime scenes, one person, false confessions. There's a lot to get into. We, of course, had a ton of listener interaction for this first episode. Have a feeling there

going to be a lot of things that you will say, hold on to your hat. It's coming. But really

looking forward to getting into this conversation. We are unfortunately, Sonsz, Zach, this week.

He is on assignment, so we will do our best to represent him in his absence. And before we officially begin, Bob, do we have any housekeeping?

Yeah, a couple things. One, I know one of the questions was that I wanted to know about the

case documents. They are up now on our website, truth and justice pod.com. If you go to the season 17, the Chris Bynum case, you'll see the case documents there. That delay was 100% my fault. We put those up through a Google Doc, or a Google Drive, and I got them all together and was going to put them in the Google Drive and did that and forgot about the

fact that the website has to be updated for you to get to the Google Drive.

So very, and thank you very much to Katie Ross, who does our website. She was on it like yesterday.

I was like, oh, shit, Katie, I have to update the website and she knocked it out in like an hour.

So they are up. Also, a big shout out to Valeria Martinelli. She added a few things. Of course, she's, she is, as she says, the newspaper and map queen found some newspaper articles and created some maps that I was planning on working on today that she had already found and I stole them from Valeria and put them up on the website too. So there's a good chunk there for episode one.

It's mostly photos, not a lot of documents, because we really didn't get into any details yet.

You know, that was just, this case was, as you heard, there's a lot to unpack.

It's very complicated.

And before we get into that, I just have one little tiny piece of my own housekeeping that's listener related as you were talking about all of the wonderful listeners who help us remember that we need to post documents and people like Katie who are making happen, Valeria, as well. I just wanted to very quickly acknowledge, because I didn't say it in the pre-show, that I met listener, Jennifer P. in Dallas at a convention I was at

recently. And she is so wonderful. And I just wanted to make sure I gave her a quick shout out

because she is such a supporter and a fan and is doing really good work in her own work life

on behalf of truth and justice. So thank you, Jennifer. Excellent. Only other thing I want to mention

is one thing we've been finding out, because there's been a few episodes where we're like, man, we're just not getting a whole lot of questions for the follow-ups. Right. I finally started looking at the insights on Facebook. And their algorithm, whatever they are doing in the fan page, it's not showing the follow-up post to people. Yeah. So last week I had put the post up. There's 15,000 people in that group if you're not in there. Yeah. And it's called the official truth and justice podcast fans page. If that's, there's others.
