How have you found it?

I really loved it actually.

It was a really interesting comparing this experience to my experience in Denmark last year

where I found the tour to be just an overwhelmingly huge organisation.

And it's interesting here because the size of the towns in the Alps

and all of the mountains pressing in on you condense the tour a little bit

and almost make it a little bit smaller.

But then when you're on the side of the road, the presence of the fans is just so huge.

And I think it's really overwhelming to me quite how many people come out onto the road

to experience what is often just two seconds of riders flashing past.

But the adrenaline and the spirit of the crowd and the feeling that you get when the riders come past

is really like no other sporting event I've ever been to.
