0:20.6	Hey, hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of a year in the Bible with
0:27.5	Daily Grace. This is Stephanie and I am back and ready to walk with you through
0:31.6	Jeremiah Chapter 43 through 45.
0:35.0	So yesterday ended on a bit of a cliffhanger didn't it?
0:39.0	The remnant received a word from the Lord and they had a choice. Trust in God and stay put in the
0:45.2	land of Judah or continue on to Egypt. The people have promised to obey
0:50.5	whatever the word from the Lord was, but did they? Unfortunately, their response to the word
0:56.5	from the Lord was to accuse Jeremiah of lying. Did you expect that? In Chapter 43, we read that the people totally neglected Jeremiah's track record and went on to accuse him of being part of a plan to hand the people over to the Babylonians.
1:14.7	And then what did they do?
1:16.2	They went to Egypt.
1:17.7	The leaders, which included Johannan, led the remnant and Jeremiah,
1:22.4	to Egypt.
1:24.0	And in their disobedience, they were walking away
1:26.6	from the Lord's protection and into his judgment.
1:29.8	Sometimes we can read things in the Bible
1:31.7	and think,
1:32.6	really?
1:33.7	What were they thinking?
1:35.2	Is it so hard to trust and obey God?
