| 1:31.3 | instruction. You did more evil than your ancestors. Look, each one of |
| 1:36.3 | you was following the stubbornness of his evil heart, not obeying me. Now God was going to give them what they wanted to worship other gods. In |
| 1:47.4 | Babylon the people could worship their idols of choice all night and day. But did you |
| 1:51.9 | catch what God said immediately after that? He told them that |
| 1:56.9 | he would deliver them from Babylon. Just as he delivered their ancestors from Egypt, he would deliver them again. It would be a second exodus. |
| 2:06.8 | But more, this deliverance would be even greater than the previous, so much so that that is what the people will recount to future generations. |
