Jeremiah, chapters 13, 14, and 15.

Chapter 13 begins with the parable.

Depending on the Bible translation you're using,

the object used in the parable is said to be a loin cloth or a linen belt or a sash or

linen underwear or an undergarment.

What this was was the noble cloth used by priests.

So God tells Jeremiah to buy this underwear

and he was going to give him instructions.
