Today we will take a look at Isaiah chapters four through six.

But before we dive in, let's take a moment to remember where we left off yesterday.

In Isaiah 3, we saw that the very pillars of society would be torn down as God brought judgment

to Judah.

Leaders would not be found.

The economy would crumble, and anarchy would abound.

It was a troublesome way to end our reading.

But it brings us to Chapter 4 and one of those brief glimmers of hope we find in the first half of Isaiah.

Chapter 4 is made up of just six hopeful verses.

They point us to the branch of the Lord, which is Jesus.

In His presence, the remnant of Israel

will enjoy His glorious presence.
