As we've mentioned on this journey, God's glory is on full display as his character shines from chapter to chapter. His sovereignty and omniscience

guide Isaiah's prophecies and declare him king of kings over mankind and all creation. We will see this once again today as we study

chapters 34 through 36. Over the past couple of days we have looked at the prophecies that specifically speak to final judgment and salvation across history.

Chapter 34 begins with God addressing all nations and the people

that inhabit them. They are called to listen and to pay attention. God is about to tell them the future. When we stop to think

about that for a moment it should bring us comfort that God in his grace is

Mankind has always long to know what is coming so we can prepare and know how to protect and defend ourselves.

In these verses, God is telling us that destruction more
