0:37.1	the book of Isaiah. How are you doing? What has stood out to you the most.
0:43.0	It is always so helpful to take a moment halfway through such a big book
0:48.0	and remind ourselves of who God is and what he has taught us so far. I hope you can spend some time today

1:04.4	What a sweet time I know that would be.
1:06.8	But for now, we are going to dive in and look at the task at hand.
1:11.4	Today we are going to take a look at Isaiah chapter 31 through 33.
1:17.0	These chapters are a continuation of our new section that we started yesterday, where God is speaking directly to the historical events that will take place to bring about both final judgment and salvation.
1:32.4	Chapter 31 picks back up. and salvation.
1:32.6	Chapter 31 picks back up with reminding Judah that as the Assyrian siege the city, Egypt was not
1:41.2	who they should turn to for an alliance. They must turn to the Lord.
1:46.6	God even says in verse 3, Egyptians are mere men, not God. The God of the universe provides the protection that they need.
1:57.3	The Lord's might is described as a roaring lion and his protection his hovering birds.
2:04.0	God caused them to return to him
2:07.0	and forsake the idols of silver and gold.
2:11.0	This is their reminder that Assyria will fall. Egypt will fall with them and God alone
