Here's the tragedy of Sam Bankman Fried, among many tragedies.

He had a great idea and he had a great vision about where the future is going.

Now, Sam won't be a part of that future, but what Sam was saying about the future is going to happen.

It'll be other business leaders and other businesses that actually execute the future that Sam saw.

And what is the future that Sam saw?

A decentralized exchange, a area where you could go and transact and have B2B relationshipsB relationships, C-to-C relationships, where you can take

out transaction costs and you can tokenize things that were previously illiquid, things like real estate

or art as an example. And so when you're thinking about the old world, and let's just characterize the old world as the world of modernity,

modernity really started with the combustion engine.

And so whether it was coal-fired or oil or refined oil, gasoline-fired engines, that's really where modernity started

because that's where you were able to use those sources of energy to create electricity

and a result of which you created this modern era that we're now living in.

Well, like it or not, the Middle East, the good Lord put a lot of the oil in the ground

in the Middle East.

You know, the Saudis like them or dislike them, they have 25% of the world's known oil

reserves, and they're one of the, by far, one of the richest nations in the world,

and Foreign Policy Magazine ranks them as the

seventh most important country in the world. So this is a country that's 31 million people.

It's not super populated by the standards of the world, but because of the natural resources

and the strategic location that the Saudi country sits in, it is part of the modern era,

the traditional modern era, the centralized era for that matter. That oil for the last 100 years
