So I've seen the crime scene photos, seen the bloodstain on the fucking floor you know said it just

don't make no sense. Jeremy Banks jumps in his unmarked Chevy and Paula and hits a gas.

He doesn't have time to change into his uniform.

Every second counts.

He's wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans and is armed with a concealed weapon. It's almost been nine years since Michelle O'Connell died, but right now on the afternoon of September

25th, 2019, he's off duty and pursuing a target.

Jeremy drives in and out of neighborhoods trying to locate the vehicle.

He doesn't radio in his location.

At one point, Deputy Banks uses his cell phone

to call St. John's Sheriff's Office,

but he hangs up right before the call is connected.

He's gonna handle this emergency alone.

Jeremy finally catches up to the vehicle and flips on his police lights.

And who was he after? A school bus filled with middle schoolers.

Jeremy Banks pulled the bus over to the side of the road just off U.S. Highway 1.
