Like a police officer, they can carry a gun, a badge, and drive around town with blue

lights.

But a constable is much more powerful than a regular police officer.

In Kentucky, a constable has all the powers of a sheriff.

He answers to no one, but the voters on election day.

And there's one constable in Kentucky that got our attention.

Mike Wallace, the constable, is a walking civil rights violation.

He's got a gun and a badge, and is able to intimidate a lot of people.

He'll pull people over, hey, what's that in your car?

So you have this rogue law enforcement officer with unchecked power, making all these

arrests.

I mean, I get calls from people that are physically scared.

If he got behind me and turned his blue lights on, I ain't stopping.

We found out that basically Constable Wallace is just listening in on the right band

with and showing up to these calls before the police can.

First guy there, he gets the first whack at making the arrest and making any money off

of things.

But how does a constable make money in Kentucky?
