Now we are getting into chapters 7 through 9. This time

Daniel had a vision of his own. He detailed four beasts that emerged from a torrent sea.

Darkness was in the atmosphere. The fourth beast was more frightening and

dreadful than any of the others. It had large iron teeth, ten horns, and one of the horns that emerged

from the bees had eyes and a mouth that spoke arrogantly. This was a wild scene. Daniel was deeply disturbed by the sight of these beasts,

and if I were Daniel, I would be too. Daniel then saw the Ancient of Days, like a powerful light

breaking through darkness. The Ancient of Days was a title for God and Daniel saw

a picture into his holy court.

The ancient of days was seated on a throne of flaming fire, raining as king of the universe.

His hair was as white as wool. Thousands worshipped him. He convened a

trial against the prideful beast. God found him guilty and cast the beast into the fire while restraining punishment on the other

beasts and giving them rule for a period of time. Then the Son of Man approached the throne. He was given glory and

authority equal to the ancient of days. The ancient of days gave the Son of man a people and an everlasting kingdom.

Daniel had another vision. In the dream he saw a ram with two horns charging in different directions. Then he saw a male goat with a horn between his eyes.
