1:00.0	Chapter 4 begins with a very important principle about testing spirits to see if they are from God.
1:05.8	Now this sounds kind of mystical, but really what John is saying is when someone is speaking
1:11.6	or teaching on behalf of God,
1:13.7	we shouldn't just automatically believe what they say,
1:16.6	because some people are false prophets and they are not teaching the truth,
1:21.0	but they're being inspired by the spirit of the
1:23.0	Antichrist and not by God. So we should test what people are saying
1:27.4	according to scripture. Do they proclaim Christ? Do they say that Jesus is
1:32.0	God, that he died and rose again, and that he is the only way to a relationship
1:36.4	with God?
1:37.4	These are some of the questions that we should be aware of and ask ourselves whenever we're
